Maggie Comstock
 Senior Director of Policy at Conservation International (CI)

As the Senior Director of Climate Policy at Conservation International (CI), Maggie Comstock leads the institution’s work to support nature-based solutions to climate mitigation and adaptation within global policy frameworks. In addition to overseeing CI’s climate policy portfolio, she focuses on climate finance policies and models needed to unlock additional funding for REDD+, ecosystem-based adaptation and other nature-based solutions. Maggie previously worked on Climate and Biodiversity Finance Policy at CI, which included managing the organization’s biodiversity policy engagement with particular focus to matters related to finance.

Prior to joining CI, Maggie worked as a Policy Analyst at the U.S. Green Building Council focusing on international green building policy, sustainable cities and global market development. Maggie holds a master’s degree in Environment, Society and Development from the University of Cambridge, where she researched international carbon markets and their implications for developing countries.
