Charissa Zehr

Haiti_speaker_2Charissa Zehr has been with the MCC Washington Office since 2014 where she focuses on U.S. policy toward Latin America and Asia. Rooted in decades of experience working in Haiti with grassroots partners, MCC has advocated for Haitian voices to be at the forefront of disaster recovery, food sovereignty, and the cholera justice movement. Charissa formerly co-chaired the Haiti Advocacy Working Group in Washington, DC, a coalition of international development, faith-based, and human rights organizations advocating on issues related to U.S.- Haiti policy. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Public Policy at the UMD.
