Adanna Chukwuma
Health Specialist, World Bank Group

Adanna Chukwuma is a Health Specialist at the World Bank Group, where she leads the health team in Armenia. Since joining the Bank as a Young Professional in 2016, she has been involved in the design, implementation, and evaluation of reforms to improve access to high-quality health care, through service delivery organization, strategic purchasing, revenue mobilization, and demand generation, in Sri Lanka, Sierra Leone, India, Tajikistan, the South Caucasus Countries, and Romania. She is a recipient of the Future Awards Africa Prize for Public Service, the Nigerian President’s Award for Outstanding Community Service, the Associate Fellowship of the Nigeria Leadership Initiative, and the Global Health Corps Fellowship, among others. Adanna obtained a medical degree from the University of Nigeria, a Master of Science in Global Health from the from the University of Oxford, and a Doctor of Science in Health Systems from Harvard University.
