Edward Elmendorf
World Bank

Ed Elmendorf has been deeply involved in international organizations for over 40 years. He started by working at the US Mission to the UN and then in the UN Secretariat, as a junior foreign service officer, in the 1960s. He left the foreign service in 1970 for a 30 year career in the World Bank, with responsibilities ranging from policy planning to human resource management to country assistance strategy and macroeconomic reform, to global health.

Since retiring from the Bank in 2000, he has been increasingly involved in the UN Association; he has served as volunteer President of UNA-NCA, and as President and CEO of the national organization, UNA-USA.Ed Elmendorf has been deeply involved in international organizations for over 40 years.

Will Davis
United Nations Development Program, Washington Office

Will Davis joined UNDP office in December 2011 after six years as director of the United Nations Information Center in Washington. Since 1990, he has held a number of senior positions in the State Department's Bureau of Legislative Affairs, including most recently as the Staff Director, Office of Global & Functional Affairs.

In between State Department assignments, he worked for the Organisation for Economic Cooperation & Development (OECD) as Deputy Head of Public Affairs at OECD headquarters in Paris and at the White House as Senior Director and Director for Legislative Affairs as a member of the National Security Council Staff.

Earlier in his career he also worked as Budget Analyst in the Executive Office of the President and Program Analyst at the U.S. Department of the Treasury.

A native of Lebanon, Ohio, he holds a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science (1984) as well as a Master's Degree in Public Policy Studies (1987), both from Duke University, Durham, North Carolina.
