Roundtable Discussion: Human Trafficking in America

UNA-NCA, in conjunction with the Universal Peace Federation and several other DC-area organizations, will be hosting a roundtable discussion event entitled "The Face of Human Trafficking in America".  The purpose of this roundtable is to provide a forum for discussing human trafficking, which is a form of modern-day slavery.  This forum will address the domestic issues of human trafficking and how the US is affecting it around the world.

Presenters:

  • Yvonne Williams: Executive Director, Trafficking in America Task Force
  • Cynthia Turner: Executive Director, Seraphim Global
  • Julie Southwell: Field Organizer, Mid-Atlantic Region, Amnesty International USA
