The United Nations Associations of the National Capital Area has a wide variety of programs to appeal to a wide range of audiences.

Human Rights Luncheon 

The Human Rights Luncheon is held annually to commemorate the anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Usually celebrated within the second week of December, the luncheon recognizes the outstanding work and progress that individuals are making in improving human rights in their communities and around the world with the UNA-NCA Louis B. Sohn Human Rights Award and Perdita Huston Human Rights Award.

United Nations Month 

Every October, UNA-NCA celebrates the anniversary of the signing of the UN Charter by hosting events highlighting the United Nations and its mission.  UNA-NCA partners with other organziations to hold panel discussions, networking events, lectures, and happy hours in honor of the United Nations.

Graduate Fellows Program

UNA-NCA provides an opportunity for Washington consortium graduate students interested in international affairs, development, trade, finance, and related disciplines to explore the field of international organizations. The UNA-NCA Fellows Program offers participants the chance to build strong professional and academic skills through relevant internship experiences and a 10-seminar series on global issues and the United Nations.
