Ian Sloan
Paralegal and Project Manager, Jackson & Associates Law Firm, LLC

Balancing his full time position as a legal project manager, various led youth development matters such as his humanitarian initiative Virtual Life Skill Building Workshop, and part-time student status in a self-made policy specialization for his Master of Public Policy program, Ian A. Sloan uses those experiences to continue being a benevolent presence to anyone in need of his service. Serving as the Maryland liaison for the Human Rights Committee since April 2018, Ian has strived to place benevolence in any of the committee's efforts in educating and motivating the public to be advocates of various human rights matters while balancing their lives. A recent example was last year's annual celebration of First Lady Eleanor Rooosevelt's human rights work in which he led its first virtual version that included small group discussions and visual aids to inspire attendees to continue to carry on her legacy during the pandemic.
