Diana Vaca McGhie has worked for over 20 years leading nonprofits on various aspects of their mission. Her public health experience is primarily in non-profit capacity building, international relations, and business development and advocacy. Diana has implemented inclusive and equity programming, managing, and overseeing projects in over 10 countries and provides a unique perspective to grassroots mobilization and civic engagement.
In her current role, Diana is the American Heart Association’s liaison with multi and bi-lateral organizations and Portfolio Lead for Global Advocacy. Diana brokers and builds strategic alliances to improve public health outcomes with associations, the private sector, and philanthropic organizations. She also crafts public health policies informed by sound data and implementation science.
Diana has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Stony Brook University in New York and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from New York University.
