Making a Difference
Advancing the mission and ideals of the United Nations
With an historic legacy dating back to 1952 and a large and active membership, UNA-NCA makes a large and lasting impact. From working to bring the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) agreed to by 193 member nations in 2015 into alignment with our DC community through partnerships; to convening educational and informative events and programs; to curating meaningful conversations and connections, the goal to advance the mission and ideals of the United Nations is made real through the dedicated work of UNA-NCA members, staff, volunteers, leaders, and stakeholders.
