Isabela is an Engagement Specialist at the World Resources Institute, where she works to strengthen the impact of Global Forest Watch’s tools and build community partnerships across forest monitoring and protection.
Isabela has broad experience working for the United States government, intergovernmental organizations, public-private partnerships and startups. Prior to this role, Isabela consulted staff from the USAID Office of Global Climate Change and served as the Content Manager for Climatelinks, USAID’s climate change website. She also has international experience working in Latin America, including overseas work with the United Nations, civil society and grassroot organizations in Ecuador.
Isabela holds a B.S. in Public Health and a minor in International Development & Conflict Management from the University of Maryland, College Park. She is a candidate for a Master's in Sustainability Management from the Kogod School of Business at American University.
Originally from Maryland, Isabela enjoys spending time in nature, hiking, and exploring DC's museums.
