Lia Nicodemo
Lia Nicodemo is a 3rd year undergraduate student at The George Washington University obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in political science and philosophy. Her eclectic childhood saw her move from Toronto, Canada to Seoul, South Korea and finally to the United States. With a desire to be involved in policy making both federally and globally, Lia went through the process of obtaining her U.S. citizenship in 2018 and earned her right to vote. These life experiences instilled her passion for the inner workings of global politics and a desire to help those in need. Prior to working for UNA, Lia has served as the director of the Youth Impact Program, interned at the Missile Defense Advocacy Alliance and engaged the public to vote with TurnUp Activism. In her free time you can find her rowing for the division one GWU women's rowing team, and engaging as an active leader on the philanthropy subcommittee of her pre-law fraternity Phi Alpha Delta.
