Human Rights Awards Nominations

Each year the United Nations Association of the National Capital Area (UNA-NCA) hosts its awards reception during our commemoration of Human Rights Day in December, and we are pleased to present you the opportunity to personally recognize those individuals and institutions whom you admire for their work, their perseverance, and their passion in the forwarding of human rights.

The annual Human Rights Awards Reception commemorates the UN General Assembly’s adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in 1948 by presenting the:

• Louis B. Sohn Human Rights Award
• Perdita Huston Human Rights Award
• F. Allen “Tex” Harris Diplomacy Award
• Community Human Rights Award
• Emerging Human Rights Leader Award

Using the form linked below, you can submit as many nominations for any of the five awards as you would like to, though the form allows for only one nomination at a time.
