Destiny Clements joined the National Capital Area chapter of UNA-USA in early 2020. She currently serves as co-chair of the Membership Committee, where she works to ensure an engaged and ever-growing membership. In addition to her involvement in UNA-NCA, Destiny serves as a Policy Program Coordinator at the National Security Institute. Working with national security experts, she assists in the organization and implementation of programs and events that explore national security concerns, and works with congressional offices to inform policymakers of these issues.
Prior to her role at NSI, Destiny worked for the American Academy of Diplomacy where she collaborated with more than 350 former ambassadors and leaders in foreign policy to strengthen American diplomacy through outreach programs and reports. Destiny is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Extension Studies, International Relations at Harvard University. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Purdue University in Law and Society and Global Studies and a graduate certificate from the London School of Economics and Political Science in Business, International Relations and the Political Economy.
