As a life-long believer in communication for social change, Heba spent the last decade managing successful communications and advocacy projects. Currently, she is managing the upcoming Women Deliver 2023 Conference communications. Most recently, she led the communications aspects for the Generation Equality Forum at UN Women, a major global inflection point for gender equality and
Heba strives to build dynamic and integrated communications to lead global social innovation, diversity, equity, and sustainability initiatives. Her previous roles include managing strategic communications at UN Women and UNDP on national, regional and global levels, working on the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals such as gender equality, access to quality education, poverty, women peace and security, and climate change.
She is passionate about bridging research and practice for gender equality. In addition to teaching communications at a number of leading universities, Heba holds an M.A. in Diversity and the Media from University of Westminster and is currently working towards her PhD in Media and Communication at Temple University.
