Himaja Nagireddy
Himaja Nagireddy currently serves as Deputy Associate Policy Director, White House.  She is also an elected member of the Select Board for the Town on Acton, where she oversees 11 Boards and Committees, including the Water Resource Advisory Committee, Board of Health, and Health Insurance Trust.

Himaja is a second year MS (SM-80) candidate in the Department of Environmental Health at the Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health. She graduated from the University of Connecticut with Bachelor of Science degrees in Physiology & Neurobiology and Molecular & Cell Biology, as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. In the past, she has worked for the Massachusetts Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs, US Agency for International Development (USAID), and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Passionate about driving local change, Himaja was named a 2021 Harvard Presidential Public Service Fellow for her work on environmental health legislation for MA State Senator Jo Comerford. She also pursues her interest in infectious disease epidemiology and public service as a Research Associate for the Brigham and Women’s Hospital and the Department of Global Health and Social Medicine at Harvard Medical School.
