Leah is pursuing her Master of Arts in International Affairs with a concentration in Conflict and Conflict Resolution at the Elliott School of International Affairs at George Washington University. Leah’s professional interest areas include conflict-related sexual violence, genocide, international law, and peacebuilding. She works full-time as a Program Associate for Professional Development and Mentorship at GW Law. Leah is a 2020 graduate of the University of Wisconsin with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, a major in Global Education Studies and a minor in Women’s Studies. During her undergraduate studies, Leah interned with the U.S. Department of State abroad and the U.S. Department of Defense through the Virtual Student Federal Service. She also co-founded a campus chapter of UNA-USA and served as a board member of UNA-USA Dane County. Leah is originally from Wisconsin and moved to Washington, D.C. in 2020.
